Existing carport surface was broken concrete, dirt, weeds and a very poorly installed asphalt patch.  Matt and his crew cleared that out, built up the base with leveling, gravel and rebar and poured the concrete with beautiful results and reclaimed a foot and a half of property.

So happy with the results, I had them come back and do the other side with some cosmetic brickwork and concrete - absolutely satisfied.

The best part was the clean up.  Recent experience of 100% remodeling (and sale) of my condo showed that contractors are done when the product is installed with no clean up.  Matt’s crew left my home as when they got started, 100% job completion.

If I could give more "stars" to rate Whieldon Cement Works, I would!  Not only are owner Matt and his son, Jason, a pleasure to work with, but they are both professional, friendly, and prompt.  I had a large patio and walkway re-poured last year, and was so pleased with the result that I had them come back and expand my driveway and replace a sidewalk this year.  Both jobs were done exceptionally well and in an amazingly short time -- two days!!  The results were fantastic, and I have received many compliments on how great the patio and driveway look.  Now, who would get excited about cement work??  Never thought I would, but, yeah, they are that good.  I'll have them back again, and highly recommend.

Matt and Jason are highly knowledgeable in the field of concrete and masonry; they work well with the homeowner.  No matter what order you put it in, they are nice, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.  On my project their infield changes were superior to planned designs.  They were always on-time to the job.  The crew they put together is amazing; they certainly work well together.  They do a final cleanup.  I would use them again for any future business.  I am comfortable in recommending them to anyone.

Matt and his crew are fantastic. Removed 2 large planters and driveway, rerouted drain line, cored curb, replaced driveway, diamond cut driveway in 3 days! They get the job done right!  Experience counts.

Whieldon Cement works poured a pad for a large shed.  I would highly recommend them !  The work was done efficiently and perfect!  They were very friendly and knowledgable we will be using them again in the future.

Recently just had Whieldon Cement Works come out and pour a concrete slab for a large side section of my home connecting to my neighbors.  The owners Matt and his son Jason, along  with the crew were very professional, thorough, prompt, and made sure if I had any questions or concerns they would answer.  Prior to having the cement work done, I was concerned about the electrical and gas lines in that particular area as that is where both my neighbor and my gas meter, electrical and cable box hub was. Instead of just digging and then working around the lines as they appear which is very dangerous and unsafe. Matt told me to ensure safety they would have DigAlert, cable service, and the gas company come out and mark the lines to ensure no damage to the lines during demo, laying the rebar and finally cementing.  Matt and Jason also layed down a 3/4” nonmetallic pvc conduit line  so I could in the future run electrical when I plan to build a retaining wall or planter.   Overall, The work came out amazing.  I highly recommend Whieldon Cement works for anyone who is considering have cement work done as a testament to the work I just got done.  You will not be disappointed.
